Alejandra Mejía Genoni studied at the Universidad de Chile, and received her law degree in 1999. Later, in 2006, she carried out a Master's Degree in Tax Law at the same university.
Alejandra served between 2001 and 2007 as associate lawyer of the law firm Carey y Cia. Prior to joining Santander Valdés, between 2007 and 2016, she worked in the law firm Claro & Cía.
In the academic area, Alejandra was in 1996 assistant professor of the Department of International Law of the Universidad de Chile.
Her practice focuses on Tax advice and Tax litigation.
She is member of the Chilean Bar Association, of the Chilean Tax Law Institute, and of IFA – International Fiscal Association.
